Empty tasks are one of the more straightforward task types in Procify. Their functionality is very simple: they allow the workflow to proceed without any action needing to occur.
Therefore, neither users nor the system need to perform any additional actions for the workflow to advance to the subsequent tasks.
Empty Tasks in Decisions
The most common use of Empty tasks is to pass through a decision branch when no action is needed.
In decisions where some branches require further actions and others don't, empty task types can be placed in the branches that do not require additional actions, allowing the workflow to pass through them freely.
