In Procify, a task becomes overdue when it isn't completed within its expected time frame. This helps teams stay on top of deadlines and act quickly when something slips through the cracks.
A task becomes overdue when an Expected Duration is set for it in the Workflow Builder, and the task is not completed within that set timeframe once triggered during the case execution.
What Happens When a Task Becomes Overdue
When a task is not completed within the expected duration, the assignee is notified via email that the task is overdue, and a red indicator appears on the task itself and on the case it belongs to, making it easy to spot delayed items at a glance.

Even if the task is completed later, the red indicator remains visible to signal that the task (and its case) experienced a delay. This ensures that overdue tasks are clearly flagged for follow-up, transparency, and process improvement.
